Tuckers & Kent Defence merge
Tuckers Solicitors LLP, the number one national criminal law firm are pleased to announce that they have completed a merger with Kent Defence Ltd, the highly regarded criminal law specialists based in Margate. Kent Defence will be joining the Tuckers Kent branch ensuring extensive county wide coverage for the branch and with eighteen specialist criminal law solicitors together with support staff, the Kent Branch will now have one of the largest number of criminal lawyers based in Kent.
The Kent branch comprising of the former firms of Robin Murray & Co and Kent Defence have chosen to trade under the single name of “Tuckers Solicitors, Kent Branch” to reflect the fact that they will be operating as one entity in Kent. The Kent branch will be retaining all of its existing fee earners and maintaining its strong links in Kent but in addition will have access to the national firm allowing them to exploit modern technology to the full for the advantage of their clients with Tuckers cutting edge exploitation and development of digital technology designed for the fast developing criminal justice system.
Additionally Kent clients can now be referred to Tuckers renowned actions against the police, prison law and extradition departments as well as the new specialist appeals department. There is also strong support provided across the firm so that clients can benefit from the wealth of experience and talent within the firm.
Tuckers have been at the forefront of national leadership of the profession in the area of criminal law having a former Chair of the CSLA, President of the LCCSA and here in Kent former vice chair of CSLA and former Chair of the Law Society’s Criminal Law Committee within its ranks.
