Tuckers’ client acquitted of Jason Scott Cooke Murder

Andrew Hare & Sharon Bailey of Tuckers’ Birmingham office, successfully represented Aaron Doran who was acquitted of the murder and manslaughter of Jason Scott Cooke.    The facts were that the three defendants stole various items from a property.  The inhabitant contacted the Jason Scott Cooke who rounded up a few guys for a “straightener”.  In the ensuing fight, both the convicted defendants produced knives – one of which was the murder weapon.  Notwithstanding the fact that our client, Aaron Doran, was found with an axe that he had taken from the car that the defendants were travelling in – he was found not guilty of being party to the joint enterprise of Mr Scott Cooke’s murder.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-shropshire-20947092
