Stuart Duke joins to expand Bury office
We are delighted to announce the addition of Stuart Duke to expand our office in Bury. Stuart qualified as a Barrister in 1989 and subsequently qualified to undertake representation in the police stations, in addition to maintaining his, predominately, Crown Court advocacy practice. Well known and highly regarded in the local area, this is an important step for Tuckers in expanding the depth and quality of its expertise for representing those in Bury and its surrounds. We are particularly pleased to make this commitment to the provision of criminal defence services in Bury, notwithstanding the likely closure of the local Magistrates’ Court. Wherever cases are transferred under the court re-organisation envisaged by the Ministry of Justice, we are determined to be able to provide face to face advice to those that need criminal defence advice within Bury itself.
Stuart’s recent work includes in the last few years having successfully defended in a series of high profile murder trials and trials involving serious sexual allegations, including the Rochdale grooming cases and the “Selfie Murder Trial “.
