Series 2 – The Briefs

Fly on the wall documentary “The Briefs” returns for its second series at 9pm on Thursday 18 July 2013.   Following the work of criminal defence lawyers in the firm’s Manchester office, it offers a unique insight into a little understood aspect of the criminal justice sytem – the relationship between legal representative and their client.  As the Radio Times reviewer comments – “There’s something about the relaxed consultation between brief and accused, often discussing serious and violent crimes, which is a real shocker. “If you brandish an axe in a public place,” one legal adviser coolly tells her client, “that would contravene conditions of your ASBO.” http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/ckw5sj/the-briefs–series-2—episode-1
