Protestors, football fans and other members of the public have found themselves logged in nationwide police databases, despite never having committed a crime.

The team work closely with community action groups and campaigns order to raise awareness of these databases and help challenge the implementation of unlawful policies.

This area of law is rapidly changing many people do not know the rights they have to access data held about them and, in some circumstances, the right they have for that data to be removed.

Bodies that hold data about you, such as the police, must also follow strict laws about who they may disclose that information to.
