Chambers & Partners – Tuckers Rankings

We are delighted to announce the recognition of Tuckers lawyers in the latest Chambers & Partners director.   As the country’s leading criminal defence firm, it is always reassuring to see that Chambers reflects our status in Band 1 of the Crime rankings.   We continue to be the only firm in the country with three practitioners recognised in Band 1 – London partners Richard Egan, Jim Meyer and Phil Smith.   The continuing growth of the depth of the quality work delivered within our Crime teams is also reflected in Partner Sarnjit Lal being recognised in Band 4.

Special mention is, however, reserved for Russell Nicholson – who for the first time is properly recognised in the Crime; Extradition category, reflecting his growing reputation as a practitioner in this area.

Outside of London, Tuckers is recognised in Band 1 in both Birmingham (key contact; James Turner) and Manchester (key contact; Leigh Wright).

In other practice areas, the firm is recognised in the Health & Safety category for their prosecution work for the Health & Safety Executive.   Both Jim Meyer and Julia Thomas are ranked as individuals.

The firm’s Claimant work in the Police Law category is also ranked, with Andre Clovis (London) and Keiron Walsh (Manchester) both being ranked as individuals in Band 2.
